Careful, We Have Not Won Yet…

For the first time ever, the City of Prague Museum publishes its collection of original posters from the modern Czech history revolution period that lasted from November 1989 to June 1990. The collection is the outcome of the museum’s systematic acquisition activities. While some posters were collected by the museum workers during the revolutionary days in 1989, others were acquired later from their authors or private collectors, who either sold or donated them to the museum. This Velvet Revolution collection is complemented by multiple photographs taken in the streets of Prague.
