Libeň–The Perished World

The book is the first volume of the long-running series of the City of Prague Museum about the suburbs of Prague. It covers the history of this former suburb of Prague through historical photographs, postcards, prints, and other materials and shows vanished areas such as the ghetto or Bulovka before the current hospital was built there. The reader will also learn about former factories and inns, the provisional wooden bridge going to Libeň, and the Barricade Bridge before it became part of the north-south arterial road, as well as about other interesting facts about the life and development of this area.
